my meaningful morning
My wife Targhee and I are usually awoken in the mornings by a cry or a nudge from one of our two children. We gather everyone in the bed together to laugh, play, and nestle like a pack of birds. One of us eventually gets the chance to give the other the freedom to sleep-in by taking the children into the other room to eat and play. When the sleeper awakes, we share the brilliant spiritual calm of a cup of coffee and children at play.
