my meaningful morning
Oh, how I wish I could tell you that I do this daily. I can’t. I set my alarm and, maybe 3 days/week, actually get up when it goes off. I brew a cup of coffee and sit at my computer for 20-30 minutes. No email. No internet. Just Microsoft Word. I allow myself full permission to say whatever I want, to let the oft’ unspoken voice be expressed, to write in unedited, uncensored ways. There’s no prompt other than this: ‘What I really want to say is….’ Amazing what comes forth when the filters are removed—even temporarily.
