my meaningful morning
My morning rituals change over time—I call it evolving and refining. My favorite practice is to awaken without an alarm, sit up in bed, and meditate for 10-15 minutes. I follow this with 20-30 minutes of journaling, and finish up the ritual by reading inspiration from other sources. The challenge here is that many of the sources come via email. I leave this until last, because opening email can disrupt my morning ritual faster than any single distraction. It’s like Forrest Gump’s chocolate box.
