my meaningful morning
I always try to get up before sunrise. I then light at least one candle, make some coffee and sit and wait for the sun to show up. (I do have a wall of windows facing East, which helps for this part!) During this time I often pray, always reflect, sometimes journal and usually think and pray through my priorities for the day and usually the next several days. I try to identify any toxic attitudes or sadness—sort of making mental notes on the state of my heart and mind and then I consider how to move forward.
